Paul Gangi

Paul Gangi has over 40 years of work experience in various technical roles. Paul began their career as a QA Technical Engineer at Advent Corp., where they worked on assembly line technician and final quality assurance for Advent Lifesize projection TVs. Paul then joined Digital Equipment Corporation as an Engineering Support Technician, maintaining and diagnosing computer components for various computer models. After that, they worked at Saddlebrook Corp as a Hardware Support Technician, staging and installing PDP11 microcomputers and providing in-house support. Later, at Sanchez Computer Associates, they served as a Systems Manager, maintaining networks and telecommunication systems in remote offices. Paul then joined Microfinancial as a Systems Manager, implementing and managing WAN/LAN systems across multiple locations. Following this, they worked at National Ski Patrol as a Senior Alpine Patroller. Currently, they are working at HP Hood LLC in various roles, including Lead Infrastructure Engineer Networks and Senior Infrastructure Engineer Communication Technologies, where they lead the design and support for wide area networks, data communications, firewall security, core data infrastructure, call center, voicemail, and telecommunication engineering. Overall, Paul has extensive experience in network infrastructure, telecommunications, and computer systems.

Paul Gangi has a diverse education history spanning several decades. In 1978, they obtained a degree from Sylvania Technical Institute as a Licensed Master in Radio and TV repair, specializing in radio and TV electronics. From 1979 to 1995, Paul attended the DEC Training Center and earned a Certificate in Computers.

In 1998, they obtained a certificate from Global Knowledge in Open VMS Sys Performance. In 2012, Paul pursued further education in Cisco network troubleshooting at Global Knowledge and in Implementing Cisco Wireless Networks at New Horizons. Paul also attended a program at SANS, focusing on ethical wireless hacking and penetration testing.

Paul's education continued in 2013 when they completed a Cisco CCNA Bootcamp program at Global Knowledge, ensuring their proficiency as a Cisco Certified Network Associate.

In terms of additional certifications, Paul obtained the Agile Testing certification from LinkedIn in March 2022. In October 2013, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) through Cisco.
