Gaurav Sood

Gaurav Sood is an experienced machine learning engineer with a strong background in software development, indicated by work at HP from June 2015 to June 2021. As a Senior Specialist ML Engineer, Gaurav developed a scalable vector search and retrieval system for 10 million users and designed an LLM-based chat application. Gaurav's experience also includes analyzing sales time series data for demand forecasting and implementing hyperparameter tuning, which improved execution times significantly. Prior roles at HP included designing a PostScript Language parser and working on PDF document processing. Gaurav holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College.
