Lucian Tira

Lucian Tira is a seasoned finance professional with significant experience in opportunistic public credit investing at HPS Investment Partners, LLC, where positions held have included Managing Director, Executive Director, Vice President, and Associate since August 2016. Prior to this, Lucian worked as a Summer Analyst at Schooner Capital in 2015, and as an Associate at The Carlyle Group from February 2011 to December 2013. Lucian began a career as a Restructuring Analyst at Lazard Freres & Co. from June 2009 to February 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School obtained between 2014 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Accounting from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2008. Early education was completed at Colegiul National Emil Racovita in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from 2000 to 2004.
