Valerie Wong

Valerie Wong is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and business development, particularly within the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Managing Director and Executive Director at HPS Investment Partners, LLC since May 2021, Valerie focuses on business development and is a Responsible Officer. Prior roles include consultancy for AIA in investment fund selection and due diligence, and Principal - Alternatives at Mercer, where involvement in the Private Markets’ Rating Review and Investment Committees was key. Valerie's previous experience includes leadership positions in investment strategy and portfolio management at AIA, Vision Investment Management, HSBC, and J.P. Morgan. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies and Japanese from The University of British Columbia and completed the Japan Studies Program at Tokyo International University.
