Melanie Cox is a registered BACP Psychotherapist and the Founder of HQ Therapy, established in June 2016, where a diverse range of therapeutic modalities is offered to individuals, couples, and families, including a Low Cost Counselling Service. In addition to their role at HQ Therapy, Melanie has been working as a psychotherapist in private practice since February 2009. Melanie's educational background includes a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Spectrum Therapy, a Certified TRE Provider qualification from TRE College, and a Certificate for Art in Therapy and Education with Adults and Adolescents from the Institute for Art in Therapy and Education. Melanie also holds an Associate's degree in Portrait and Commercial Photography from the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology.

HQ therapy rooms provide a warm, inviting, and supportive space for both clients and therapists. Our spaces are part of an interactive community that encourages, professional members to engage with one another and offers regular opportunities for professional development; in the form of workshops and lectures covering a wide range of topics. Currently located in Hackney in central London, our Haggerston and Dalston therapy rooms are stylish boutique spaces, perfectly located for public transport. HQ Therapy houses fully trained accredited therapists from a range of backgrounds and training, including psychological, physical and meditative therapies.
