Wijbren Taconis

Wijbren Taconis currently serves as the Information Security & Compliance Manager and Information Security Officer at HqO since September 2021, having previously held roles as an Information Security Intern at both HqO and Office App. Additionally, Wijbren is involved with the Rotterdam Offshore Sailing Team as a sailor since March 2023 and has extensive experience in teaching at Watersport Academy "De Kaag" since June 2015, serving as Hoofdinstructeur, Begeleider, and Instructeur. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in HBO ICT - Information Security Management from De Haagse Hogeschool and a minor in Bedrijfskunde voor Niet-Bedrijfskundige from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, alongside a higher general secondary education degree in Natuur & Techniek from Northgo College. Previous experience also includes a role as an Information Security Specialist at Virtuagym from September 2019 to December 2021.
