Lauren Besso

Lauren Besso is the Director of HR and Benefits at The Applied Companies. Lauren has over 9 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on small and medium sized businesses. Prior to their current role, Lauren was an HR Business Partner at The Applied Companies, where they helped business owners navigate the world of human resources and benefits. Lauren has also worked as an Employee Success Business Partner Coordinator and Executive Recruiting Coordinator at Salesforce.com, and as a Human Resources Coordinator at First Republic Bank. Lauren is passionate about creating a more profitable and rewarding workplace for small and medium sized businesses.

Lauren Besso has a Bachelor of Public Administration with a Minor in Business Management from the University of Arizona. Lauren was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and participated in the Philanthropic Committee. Lauren also studied abroad at Anglo-American University in Prague in 2010-2011. Lauren has a Masters in Human Resources from Colorado State University-Global Campus and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
