Marlene Flores

Marlene Flores is an experienced human resources professional who currently serves as an executive recruiter with The Applied Companies. Marlene has over six years of experience in full-lifecycle recruitment in high-volume environments, sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, and communicating with hiring managers and HR Business Partners. Additionally, Marlene has experience in onboarding, new employee orientation, managing employee records, and placing entry-level to management applicants in various roles.

Marlene began their career in 2012 as a senior human resources recruiter with Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. In this role, they assisted with campus recruitment efforts, led recruiting programs, supervised and trained new front office team members, and showed a high degree of guest experience. Marlene also assisted in translating company forms and policies into Spanish and was responsible for reconciling drug test and background invoices for the company.

In 2018, Marlene transitioned to their current role as an executive recruiter with The Applied Companies. In this role, they are responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for a variety of positions within the company. Additionally, they assist with onboarding new employees and manages employee records. Marlene’s experience in both human resources and recruitment makes their an asset to their current team.

Marlene Flores has an Associate of Arts in Hotel and Tourism Business Administration from Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador. Marlene also has certification from LinkedIn in Fair and Effective Interviewing for Diversity and Inclusion, Recruiting Talent with Social Media, and Talent Sourcing. In addition, they have a certification from Extended Studies - Continuing and Professional Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno in Employment, Placement and Practices.
