Chizi Onianwa is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Country HR Business Partner at Mastercard Foundation since November 2021, Chizi drives the people agenda to support the Young Africa Works program aimed at empowering 30 million youth in Sub-Saharan Africa by 2030. Previously, Chizi held leadership roles at Wema Bank Plc., including Head of Organizational Development, and at Accenture Nigeria, where responsibilities included country recruitment coordination and HR strategy operations. Chizi's career began at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, contributing to consultancy projects in HR value chain areas. Academic credentials include a Global HR Academy Certificate from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in International Human Resource Management from the University of Portsmouth.
