Stephen Carey

Stephen Carey is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at HR Duo since April 2023, where responsibilities include building and managing cross-functional teams and fostering a growth-oriented engineering culture. Previously, as DevOps Manager at Innovative Interfaces, Stephen designed and implemented deployment pipelines and infrastructure for the SaaS solution Vega. Past positions also include roles as Senior Development Consultant at SQS Group, Software Development Lead at UBS, Lead Automation Engineer at eircom, Automation Engineer at Revenue Commissioners, and PHP Developer at University College Cork. Stephen began their career as an intern at Sun Microsystems and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University College Cork.
