Cody Hightower

Cody Hightower's work experience begins in 2013 when they worked as an Opening/Closing Manager at Town and Country Supermarkets. In 2016, they interned as a Design Engineering Intern at the Missouri Department of Transportation, where they estimated, designed, and drafted construction plans for various projects. Cody gained experience in drafting, estimating, and other computer programs. In 2017, Cody worked part-time as a Retail Sales Associate at Academy Sports + Outdoors, where they sold guns in the hunting and fishing department. This job helped him improve their communication skills with coworkers and customers. The following year, in 2018, they interned as a Traffic Intern at the Missouri Department of Transportation, focusing on traffic studies and roadway safety audits. In 2019, Cody became a Construction Inspector at the Missouri Department of Transportation, reviewing construction plans, inspecting construction practices, and administering contract financial aspects. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as an Assistant Stormwater Engineer at Greene County, Missouri, conducting in-depth land development plan reviews and creating hydraulic and hydrologic models for development projects. Currently, Cody holds the position of Civil Engineer at Tetra Tech, starting in 2022.

Cody Hightower completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2015 to 2019. In December 2019, they obtained the Engineer [Intern] certification from the Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
