Larry Stevens

Larry Stevens has extensive work experience in the public works and engineering field. Larry served as the Past President, President, and President-Elect of the American Public Works Association from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Director at HR Green, Inc. starting in 2009. Larry was also the Director of the Statewide Urban Design and Specifications (SUDAS) Program at Iowa State University from 2003 to 2009. Before that, they held the position of City Engineer/Public Works Director at the City of Oskaloosa, Iowa from 1981 to 2003. Larry began their career as an Engineer at Great Plans Engineering in 1975 and then became an Assistant City Engineer at the City of Grinnell from 1976 to 1981.

Larry Stevens attended South Dakota State University from 1970 to 1974, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
