Tim Thoreen

Tim Thoreen, PTP, currently serves as the Regional Manager - Transportation at HR Green, Inc., a position held since October 2013 that involves leading the transportation team and managing practices within Minnesota. Previously, as Practice Director - Transportation Project Development, Tim oversaw traffic, environmental, and transportation planning services, achieving a 20% team size increase and doubling revenue in two years. With a robust background from CH2M, where Tim held roles as Vice President - Area Manager and Project Manager, Tim managed operations for a business unit in Minnesota and led multiple large-scale projects, including a multi-billion dollar improvement program for the Red River Diversion Authority. Tim began professional career as a Planner at the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources and holds an M.A. in Public Affairs from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College.
