Matt Lafata has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Matt started their career at Timeslips Corporation in 1986, where they held various positions including technical support representative, manager, and head of the development group. Lafata then moved on to Sage Software in 1994, where they served as the Executive Vice President, responsible for sales, marketing, corporate development, strategic planning, and the certified consultants program. In 2000, they joined LegalVoice/AccountingVoice, a marketing and public relations firm focused on the legal, accounting, and financial services marketplaces, as the Executive Vice President. Lafata later became a City Council Member for the City of Frisco, Texas, from 2002 to 2008. In 1999, they founded The Frisco Community Newsletter (formerly The Matt Lafata Marketing Group) and served as the Founder until 2011. Currently, Lafata is the President & CEO of HRchitect, a leading HR systems strategic consulting company based in Frisco, TX.
Matt Lafata attended Gloucester High School from 1982 to 1986. Following their high school education, they enrolled at Salem State University from 1986 to 1988, where they studied Marketing and Business Development.
