Katharine Claytor

Katharine Claytor serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at HRCI since January 2021 and is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Delta Dental of Virginia, a position held since January 2009. In this role, Katharine directs all executive HR functions within a diverse group of international operations, focusing on strategic human capital vision, talent acquisition, and organizational efficiency. Additionally, Katharine has experience as a Director of HR, where innovative metrics were developed to improve employee retention, and has introduced health coaching and wellness programs to enhance employee satisfaction while controlling costs. As an international speaker and panelist, Katharine has addressed HR conferences worldwide. Educational credentials include an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School, a Master's in Human Resources from the University of Lynchburg, and advisory roles with New Delhi Institute of Management.
