Bo Sun has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Bo started their career at Sandia National Laboratories as an Engineering Co-op and then moved on to work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Cornell University. After completing their undergraduate studies, they joined the University of Michigan as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and also served as a Graduate Student Instructor. Bo then became a Research Associate at the University of Michigan before joining the National Institute of Standards and Technology as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. Bo later joined the University of Colorado Boulder as a Research Associate and is currently working as a Staff Research Scientist at HRL Laboratories, LLC.
Bo Sun has a strong educational background in applied physics and engineering physics/applied physics. From 2001 to 2005, Bo Sun attended Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics. After completing their undergraduate studies, Bo Sun went on to pursue further education at the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2011. Here, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Applied Physics.
