Dilip Balakrishna

Dilip Balakrishna has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Dilip started their career as a Software Engineer at Infosys, where they worked on various projects involving Informatica ETL routines, Unix Shell scripts, Oracle Database components, and scheduling on Autosys.

Dilip then joined Fidelity Investments and Financial Services as a Technical Lead, leading a team of Informatica/Oracle developers to migrate projects from MS SQL Server to Oracle.

Dilip later joined Infosys again as a BI Technology Lead, where they worked at PepsiCo in Dallas, Texas, leading a team focused on projects involving Oracle, Informatica, and Microstrategy for Trade Promotion Optimization, Consumer Service Integration and Analytics, Health and Sustainability, Enterprise Business Insights, and Mobility.

Dilip then took on the role of Project Manager for Target Corporation at Infosys, delivering several projects for their eCommerce data warehouse.

Next, they worked as a Microstrategy Architect for Infosys, delivering projects for Target Corporation to enhance their Microstrategy environment performance and optimize costs.

After that, they joined Mindtree as a Technical Architect, consulting at adidas AG as a Microstrategy Architect for the Western Europe Market. Dilip was responsible for all Microstrategy deliverables within the market and had a proven track record of partnership with clients in delivering solutions aligned with their business needs.

Currently, Dilip Balakrishna is working at HRS Group as the BI Architect and Head of Reporting and Analytics, building on their expertise in business intelligence to provide strategic guidance and drive data-driven decision making.

Dilip Balakrishna completed their engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Bangalore Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Cathedral High School in Bangalore from 1987 to 1999, although the degree and field of study are unknown for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Dilip has obtained several certifications. These include being a Microstrategy Certified Analyst from MicroStrategy, which they achieved in February 2021. Dilip also holds the title of Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner from Data Vault Alliance, obtained in October 2019, and has completed the Data Vault 2.0 Bootcamp with Scalefree in July 2019.

Furthermore, Dilip has obtained various certifications in database development and business intelligence. Dilip became an Exasol Certified Performance Expert in November 2018 and an Exasol Certified Database Developer in September 2018. In February 2012, Dilip obtained the titles of Microstrategy Certified Document Developer, Microstrategy Certified Report Developer, and Microstrategy Certified Project Designer from MicroStrategy. Additionally, they became an Informatica Certified Developer in August 2009.
