Elizabeth Steinhauser has held a variety of roles in the Human Resources and Organizational Development field since 2008. From 2008-2011, they were a Graduate Research Fellow at Human Resources Technologies, Inc. (HRTec), where they developed climate assessment instructional material and job aids, conducted focus groups, and prepared research papers and conference presentations. From 2011-2013, they were a Psychometrician at EHS Technologies, where they designed climate/culture surveys, developed and evaluated training programs, and conducted research in the areas of Sexual Assault, Sexual Harassment, Bystander Intervention, Occupational Stress, Workplace Bullying, Hazing, Extremism, Military Equal Opportunity (EO), and Civilian Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO). From 2013-2014, they were a Senior Analyst at SRA International, where they designed culture/climate surveys to assess sexual assault prevention and response efforts in the DoD and consulted with clients to identify how culture/climate data could be integrated into their initiatives. From 2014-present, they have been an Analytics Manager at Human Resources Technologies, Inc. (HRTec), where they lead and manages a team of People Insights and Analytics Consultants, oversees all applied research efforts with internal and external customers, and works with programmers to design end user reports. Additionally, they have been an Instructor for Online Learning and Research Assistant at Florida Institute of Technology since 2008.

Elizabeth Steinhauser obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2012. Elizabeth had previously obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the same institution in 2008. Before that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown in 2006. Additionally, in May 2022, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
