Nicole Geoghegan

Nicole joined High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd in February 2016 as General Counsel and Company Secretary and was appointed to the Executive Committee in Spring 2017.

Nicole previously worked for a top tier Australian law firm in their construction team. Until 2007, she was General Counsel & Company Secretary at Tube Lines in London, a consortium of Bechtel and Amey/Ferrovial, formed to undertake an extensive refurbishment of the 3 lines of the London tube network under the world’s largest PPP Contract. She then moved back to Australia to perform a similar role for 4 years at a global engineering consulting firm and was subsequently appointed to Divisional Head Counsel at Pacific National Coal, an A$1bn/year company transporting coal by rail, operating in one of the most complex global rail logistics chains.

Prior to joining HS2, Nicole was General Counsel at a global provider of unique, high risk technical services to the oil and gas sectors.
