Alan Buckland

Alan Buckland is a seasoned product management consultant currently working at HSBC Innovation Banking since May 2023. With extensive experience in product management and business leadership, Alan previously served as Vice President of Product Management at FLEETCOR from September 2016 to March 2023 and as VP/Senior Business Leader for B2B payments at Mastercard from January 2013 to September 2016. Prior roles include Director/Senior Managing Consultant at MasterCard Advisors, Client Account Manager at American Express, and Project Manager positions at both Celerant Consulting and Alfa Laval. Alan holds an MBA and multiple certificates from prestigious institutions, including the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. Alan is currently pursuing a Design Thinking & Innovation masterclass at the Royal College of Art.
