Tom Dearden is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Head of Leveraged Finance at HSBC Innovation Banking since November 2023, having previously held roles in Leveraged Finance at the same institution from September 2021 to August 2023. Prior to HSBC, Tom worked at NatWest Group in Leveraged Finance from January 2015 to September 2021, and at RBS from 2011 to 2014 in Strategy & Corporate Development, where notable contributions included leading the disposal of Coutts International. Tom's earlier experience includes management consulting at Roland Berger from 2010 to 2011, focusing on long-term value creation projects for blue-chip clients, and strategic consulting at Deloitte from 2007 to 2010, which involved various strategic and restructuring assignments. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, earned between 2003 and 2006.
