Aravind Krishnaswamy

Aravind Krishnaswamy possesses extensive experience in financial accounting and regulatory reporting, currently serving as the Head of Financial Accounting at HSBC since 2006, overseeing compliance with IFRS and local standards for UAE entities, while fostering relationships with regulators and auditors. Prior to this role, Aravind acted as the Country Chief Financial Officer, collaborating closely with the CEO on financial strategy. Between 2002 and 2006, experience at Bank Muscat SAOG included leading financial reporting and regulatory compliance, and contributing to the implementation of Basel II. Aravind's career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Oman, where responsibilities included managing a diverse client portfolio. Aravind holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Loyola College, attained in 1992.
