Kim Shapiro is currently the Managing Director and Head of Equity Research for Europe at HSBC Global Investment Research. They have extensive experience in the field, having served as Executive Director of Equity Research for European Insurance at Morgan Stanley from 2018 to 2021, and as Co-founder and Managing Partner specializing in European Insurance Equity Sales at Autonomous Research from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they held positions at Citi Corporate and Investment Bank, including VP of Equity Research and Director of Specialist Equity Sales in the European Insurance sector. Kim earned a BSBA in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University between 1990 and 1994.
