Dr. Martin Backhaus

Dr. Martin Backhaus has extensive experience in project management and teaching, currently serving as the Project Manager for major initiatives at ARD since March 2017, overseeing the "SAP Process Harmonization" project across multiple public broadcasting entities in Germany. In addition, Dr. Backhaus has been a lecturer at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences since October 2015, focusing on competence-based project management within the faculty of computer science and media. Previously, a software engineer and project manager at MDR MITTELDEUTSCHER RUNDFUNK from May 2003 to February 2017, Dr. Backhaus holds a Doctorate in Economics, as well as degrees in Business Administration and Business Informatics from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, supplemented by studies at Université de La Réunion.
