Alvin Wong's work experience includes working as an AI/ML Lead Engineer at HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency) since 2019, and previously as an AI/ML Engineer at the same company. Alvin also worked as a Tour Educator at IMDA, where they conducted tours and workshops to promote awareness of SMART NATION PROJECT. Alvin also served as a Fulltime National Serviceman in the Singapore Armed Forces and worked as a Service Advisor at Samsung Electronics. Alvin started their career as a Software Tester at Microsoft, where they tested and maintained software.
Alvin Wong attended Singapore Polytechnic from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Diploma in Engineering with Business, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree (Honors with Distinction) in Information Engineering & Media (IEM) at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Alvin later obtained three additional certifications: Machine Reasoning, Reasoning Systems, and a Graduate Certificate in Pattern Recognition Systems, all from the National University of Singapore in 2023.
