Raphael Labaca Castro

Raphael Labaca-Castro, PhD, is currently a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at SandboxAQ, where Raphael leads the Machine Learning Team at the Quantum Security Group. Raphael is also a Community Member at 2hearts, focusing on building a tech society with cultural diversity. Previously, Raphael has held roles such as Software Engineer at X, the moonshot factory, ML Doctoral Researcher at Forschungsinstitut Cyber Defence (CODE), and ML Research Scientist at neurocat GmbH. Raphael's educational background includes a PhD in Künstliche Intelligenz from Bundeswehr University Munich and a Master of Science in Computer und Informationssystemsicherheit from the University of Buenos Aires.
