Leping Huang

Leping Huang is a highly accomplished professional in the technology research sector, currently serving as Managing Director, Chief Technology Analyst, and Head of TMT Research at Huatai Securities Co., Ltd. since April 2021, where responsibility includes managing China TMT research and enhancing regional technology research capabilities. Previously, Leping held the position of Managing Director and Head of Semiconductor and Technology Hardware Research at CICC from February 2017 to April 2021, leading a team focused on over 80 technology stocks in China. Prior experience also includes serving as Head of China Technology and Telecom Research at Nomura, where Leping was an early analyst covering major players in the industry. Leping's career began at Nokia as a Research Scientist, complemented by academic contributions as a Visiting Scholar at The University of Tokyo. Leping holds a PhD in Network Security and Privacy from The University of Tokyo and has a background in electronic engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
