Dr. Zachos Boufidis

Dr. Zachos Boufidis is an experienced technology leader specializing in IoT and digital industry solutions. Currently serving as the CTO IoT Solutions and Director of Digital Industry Solutions Europe at Huawei since July 2019, Boufidis focuses on strategy, innovation, and development across transportation, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors in Europe. Prior to this role, Boufidis held the position of Principal Director at Accenture, overseeing Industrial IoT projects in the DACH region, and served as Director of Technology and Innovation for IoT Europe at Cognizant. Significant previous experience includes roles at AGT International as R&D Director and a foundational role in the Greek Army as a Network and Systems Administrator. Boufidis's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Informatics and Telecommunications, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Communication Systems and Networks and Informatics and Telecommunications, respectively, from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
