Pengfei Zheng

Pengfei Zheng is a Staff Researcher and Tech Lead at Huawei since July 2022, specializing in large model training and inference optimization, machine learning systems, AutoML, algorithmic decision making, and various optimization methodologies. Prior experience includes a research internship at Lenovo in 2019, focusing on AIOps research and algorithm design for resource allocation, and a research role at Facebook where Pengfei worked on performance and capacity as a research contractor. Pengfei holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Duke University (2014-2020) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2020-2021).
