Andrew Barnett

Andrew Barnett CFA has a diverse work experience starting from 2003 to the present. Andrew currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer at HUB since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Commercial Strategy at HUB from June 2022 to December 2022. Andrew has also served as an Advisory Board Member at Fencore from January 2022 to July 2022, and as the Head of Data Services at Coremont from January 2022 to June 2022. In the past, they have held positions such as Global Head of Product at RIMES Technologies from February 2019 to January 2022, Chief Data Officer (CDO) at Legal & General Investment Management from February 2017 to February 2019, and Head of Investment Data at Legal & General Investment Management from February 2015 to February 2017. Andrew has also worked as the Head of Data & IT at Friends Life Investments from July 2012 to February 2015, and as a Senior Product Specialist at Cadis Software from January 2009 to June 2012. Andrew Barnett CFA has also worked in various roles at SunGard, Charles River Development, and Gaze Holdings.

Andrew Barnett CFA has a strong educational background in finance and business. Andrew obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Finance and Commercial Law from The University of Auckland in 1994. In 1995, they furthered their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Commerce (MCom) degree with a specialization in International Business.

To enhance their knowledge and expertise, Andrew completed the Oxford Fintech Programme at the University of Oxford in 2018. Andrew also pursued additional certifications to further their professional development. In 2001, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) through the CFA Institute. In 2008, Andrew obtained a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) from the same institution. Additionally, they received a Fintech & Innovation certificate from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, in 2018.
