Louis Bernatchez

Louis Bernatchez serves as the Vice President and Chief Actuary at HUB International since March 2020, bringing extensive experience in the insurance industry. Prior roles include Vice President and Partner at Morneau Shepell from March 2003 to March 2020, where responsibilities involved group insurance benefits consulting. Earlier positions include Partner at Morneau Sobeco/Shepell.fgi, Benefits Consultant at Towers Perrin, and Group Actuary at Clarica, with significant involvement in rate renewal and actuarial support functions. Louis Bernatchez also held the title of Lieutenant(N) with Cadet Navy Officer from 1989 to 2001 and obtained degrees in Mathematical and Actuarial Science from Université de Montréal. Leadership experience includes serving as President of the Association des Diplômés de l'Université de Montréal from 2008 to 2010.
