Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell M.F.A. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of dance. Linda-Denise currently serves as the Artistic Director at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Towson University in various roles including Masterclass Instructor, Full Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Visiting Guest Artist, from 2005 to 2021.

Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell also holds a position as a Member of the International Women's Forum since November 2022. In addition to their teaching and academic roles, they have been involved with other organizations including AileyCamp Baltimore, where they served as the Director/ Principal Grant writer from 2013 to 2021.

Before their time at Towson University, Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell was a Professional Dancer at LDFH, a dance company they founded in 2005. Linda-Denise also worked as an Instructor at the Baltimore School for the Arts from 2005 to 2021.

Throughout their career, Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell has made significant contributions to the dance community, including their role as a Summer Intensive Modern instructor at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago from 2009 to 2017. Linda-Denise has also danced professionally with renowned companies such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, where they served as a Principal Dancer from 1992 to 2005, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, where they started their career as a Dancer from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they were an Apprentice at Capitol Ballet from 1987 to 1988.

Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell M.F.A. has a diverse and accomplished education history in the field of dance. Linda-Denise obtained their MFA in Dance from Hollins University, where they studied from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended The Juilliard School in 1988 and 1989, focusing on dance but not completing a degree. Linda-Denise also holds a Diploma in Dance from the Baltimore School for the Arts, which they earned from 1984 to 1988.

In addition to their formal education, Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell has acquired additional certifications throughout their career. Linda-Denise obtained a certification in Preventing Discrimination & Harassment from Traliant in March 2022. Furthermore, they became an ABT® Certified Teacher at the Primary-Level III from the American Ballet Theatre in July 2008.
