Jack Hodgkiss

Jack Hodgkiss is a creative partner at Hubbub Fundraising. Jack previously worked as a psychology assistant at Velindre Cancer Centre from September 2014 to June 2015. At Velindre, Hodgkiss conducted audits for the department, evaluated referrals, patient outcomes, and the communicative history with patients. Jack also completed a research project looking at the kinds of communication techniques patients find to be hope-encouraging, and their effects on levels of hope and quality of life. In addition to patient care and administrative duties, Hodgkiss also created and facilitated a Mindfulness based support group for patients and their families, and co-facilitated a Living with Uncertainty group. Jack also developed a smaller mindfulness session to be used for other support and rehabilitation groups which they trained other staff to facilitate.

Jack Hodgkiss has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Professional Placement from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Jack also has a Field in Mathematics, OCR NATIONALS ICT, and Psychology from BKN Sixth Form Consortium.
