Senior Creative Partner at Hubbub Fundraising

Mark Breen has worked in communications and public affairs for over 15 years. Mark is currently a Creative Partner at Hubbub Fundraising, where they help deliver communication strategies for Eating Better, an alliance of over 60 civil society organisations working to build consensus and develop collaborative practical approaches to engage policy makers, food businesses and civil society to catalyse shifts towards healthy and sustainable eating patterns.

Previously, Mark worked as a Communications Manager for Made In Hackney, a local community-based organisation that runs cookery courses, events and workshops aimed at helping people to cook healthily on a budget. Before that, they were a Communications and Public Affairs Consultant for Local Trust, where they helped develop engagement between Local Trust and MPs and councillors.

Mark has a passion for food and sustainability, and believes that by working together we can create a healthier and more sustainable future for everyone.

Mark Breen's educational career includes a professional culinary diploma from Ashburton Cookery School, a WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from West London Wine School, and a Grade 2:1 BA Dual Honours Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and Human Geography from Keele University. Mark is also certified in Emergency First Aid from St John's Ambulance and Adult Safeguarding from Safer Activities for Everyone Community Interest Company.

Mark Breen reports to Alex Robinson, CEO. They are on a team with Emily Watson - Senior Creative Partner, Ray Hopkinson - Creative Partner, and Aoife Allen - Director.
