Andrew Rota

Andrew Rota is an accomplished engineering leader with significant experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Engineering Lead at HubSpot since August 2021, Rota oversees the platform engineering teams that focus on frontend build infrastructure and development tooling. Prior to this role, Rota was the Director of Engineering for the UI Platform at Upwork, where oversight included the successful rollout of a product redesign aligned with the company's rebranding efforts. At Wayfair, Rota held multiple leadership positions, culminating as Director of Engineering for Storefront Platforms, where Rota established the software platform strategy for ecommerce applications, as well as leading an initiative to adopt React as the head of Frontend Platforms. Rota began a career at Sapient Global Markets, progressing from Software Engineer to Interactive Developer. Rota earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.
