Asif Khan

Asif Khan is a qualified general practitioner with extensive experience in various medical roles, currently serving as a PLAB Examiner at the General Medical Council since September 2023. Khan has been the Director of The Medic Clinic since July 2020, overseeing a private GP clinic focused on patient care. Concurrently, Khan works as a General Practitioner at both the Immigration Detention Center and Herts Urgent Care since August 2018, and has held numerous positions within the NHS, including a General Practitioner from August 2013 to September 2023 and an Emergency Physician at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust from October 2018 to July 2021. Khan also founded and served as Managing Director at Special Vision Centre from August 2012 to June 2019 and held earlier roles in various healthcare settings, beginning a medical career as a Medical Doctor in the NHS in August 2011. Khan holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from King's College London, obtained between 2005 and 2011.
