Fernando Pérez

Fernando Pérez has extensive work experience in the software engineering industry. Fernando began their career in 2012 as a Technician at Avanza Externalización de Servicios, where they installed, configured, and maintained hardware and software for the correct operation of computer systems. Fernando then moved on to Vamyal S.A. in 2015 as a Junior Web Developer, using Angular JS 1.x and Ionic. In the same year, they began working at Konecta S.A. as a Full Stack Developer, where they used a variety of technologies such as Javascript, React, Angular 1, Java EE, Hibernate, Postgres, Git, Pentaho, Maven, and more. In 2018, they started working at Globant as a Web UI Developer for the Deloitte account, where they were the main Frontend developer for a project called DStart. Fernando also worked as a remote Frontend developer with ReactJS and NodeJS on clients projects such as opskins.com and wax.io at Simplex Software. In 2020, they began working at Appetize - Now Part of SpotOn as a Frontend Engineer, where they worked on Interact Web, an app-less ordering solution. Fernando also worked as a Full Stack Mobile Engineer at Workilabs Inc., where they worked on a on demand mobile application that connects clients with service cleaning providers. Lastly, they are currently working at Huckleberry Labs as a Full Stack Engineer, where they are working as a full stack mobile developer using React Native Expo for iOS and is looking forward to implementing Android support as well after the MVP.

Fernando Pérez completed a Bachelor's degree in Tecnología/Técnico de ingeniería eléctrica, electrónica y de comunicaciones from Instituto Paraguayo de Telecomunicaciones between 2007 and 2009. Fernando is currently pursuing a Computer Systems Analysis degree in Computer Science from Universidad Americana Paraguay, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2022.
