Arturo Aguirre

Arturo Aguirre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cost engineering and project management within the mining industry. Currently serving as a Senior Cost Engineer and Senior Cost Accountant at Hudbay Minerals Inc. since November 2013, Arturo oversees investment projects developed by various contractors and manages Owner Cost contracts. Prior roles include Senior Cost and Budget Analyst at CIA MINERA MINASPAMPA SAC, Planning Manager at Minsur S.A. (AESA), and leadership positions in cost and budget management at MINARSA and COMARSA. Arturo holds a degree in Mining Engineering from Universidad Nacional de San Agustín and is pursuing a Project Management degree from the same institution.
