Claudia Asca Cordano

Claudia Asca Cordano possesses extensive experience in procurement and contract management within the mining and development sectors. Currently serving as Gerente de Compras y Contratos at Hudbay Minerals Inc. and previously as Jefe de Compras at Lumina Copper SAC, Claudia has been integral to the procurement processes for significant projects, including those valued over US$ 3.2 billion in Cajamarca. Prior roles include specialized positions in acquisitions for various World Bank-funded development projects, focusing on improving property rights, enhancing health sector reforms, and promoting international trade competitiveness. Claudia holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima.
