Conor Blayney P.eng.

Conor Blayney P.Eng. currently serves as the Stall Mill Assistant Manager at Hudbay Minerals Inc. since January 2020, overseeing a copper and zinc concentrator with a capacity of approximately 3500tpd. In this role, Conor has successfully managed a $42M brownfield upgrade project, completed on schedule and within budget in May 2023, while also leading various capital projects totaling $40M at multiple mining sites. Prior experience includes positions as Project Engineer at Golder, where Conor contributed to large-scale mining projects, and as a Project EIT at Exactus Energy Inc., focusing on solar installation designs. Conor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University and is currently enrolled in the CPA Canada PREP Program.
