Kolby Rowen

Kolby Rowen is a QA Specialist at VIZIO since July 2022, responsible for writing automation test scripts for APIs in Postman and operating in an Agile environment utilizing gray box testing methods. Prior to this role, Kolby served as Tournament Supervisor at UMG Gaming from April 2020 to July 2022, managing tournaments such as the Apex Legends Arena Series and Lady Spartan Pro Series. Kolby also has experience as a Professional PUBG player for over two years with Denial Esports and Smokin' Aces from November 2017 to March 2020, competing at national tournaments. Previously, Kolby worked as a QA Tester at Activision from June 2016 to November 2017, where responsibilities included documenting game issues and diagnosing system crashes. Kolby holds two Associate of Arts and Sciences degrees from the Institute of Production and Recording, one in Sound Design for Visual Media and another in Audio Production.
