Mildred P.

Mildred P. is an experienced art educator and professional artist with a diverse background in teaching, curriculum development, and mural painting. Currently serving as an Art Teacher at Hudson Country Montessori School since August 2018, Mildred has created an art curriculum for K-8 students, guiding them in various media such as watercolors, acrylics, and pottery. Previously, Mildred worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Western Connecticut State University, supporting fine arts students and faculty, and has a rich history of teaching art across multiple age groups at institutions like YMCA Escape to the Arts and Bee U Learning Center. Additionally, Mildred has operated a self-owned painting commission business since 2010 and has extensive face painting experience for diverse events. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Western Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Paier College of Art.
