Sophia Pizzo

Sophia Pizzo is an experienced Montessori Teacher at Hudson Country Montessori School since August 2020, overseeing a classroom of 24 children aged 2.5 to 6 years old. Previously, Pizzo served as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Rose Hill Manor Day School, where responsibilities included guiding daily activities for a class of 20 children. Additional experience includes roles as an After-School Program Counselor at Redding Parks and Recreation, a Writing Consultant at Western Connecticut State University, and an Art Teacher at Paint Draw and More. Pizzo's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing from Western Connecticut State University and completion of the Westside Montessori School Teacher Education Program. Currently enrolled at Charter Oak State College, Pizzo is pursuing further education. Pizzo is certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid and has fulfilled all required background checks with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
