Matthew Benton

Matthew Benton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in language education and business development. Currently serving as the Business Development Director at Hudson Global Scholars since May 2023, Matthew also holds a position as an English Language Specialist with the U.S. Department of State since February 2021. Previously, Matthew was the Chief Executive Officer of Mentora Education Group from November 2020 to April 2023 and the Director of Foreign Languages at Bahcesehir College from August 2018 to April 2023, managing language programs across 140 branches in Turkey. Early career roles include Project Director at Mentora College, Director of Foreign Languages at Terakki Vakfı Okulları, and co-founder of The Fluency Institute. Matthew holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University, complemented by degrees from Boğaziçi University and Armstrong State University.
