Jacqueline Kelly

Jacki Kelly has spent 20+ years working to ensure access to high quality education, resources, and opportunities, especially for people and communities traditionally denied access to these essentials. Most recently, Jacki served as the Director of Development at Friends of the Children New York, which pairs full-time mentors with children and families impacted by the foster care and criminal justice systems for 12+ years. Prior to that, Jacki served as the founding Executive Director of The Writing Revolution, which she grew from a startup training 200 educators to teach expository writing to an international organization serving thousands of educators worldwide. Before that, Jacki served as Director of Development and in various development and communications roles at several successful non-profits including Student Leadership Network and READ Alliance. Jacki has taught adult immigrants and children and serves on the boards of College and Community Fellowship, Inform Your Community, and the Petey Greene Program. Jacki holds an M.A. in Elementary Inclusive Education from Teachers College Columbia University and a B.S. in Journalism from Northeastern University.
