Karen Goon

Karen Goon currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director at the Port of Seattle, a position held since July 2023, providing strategic advice to the Executive Director and overseeing key operational areas. Previously, Karen was the County Administrator for Kitsap County from September 2014 to June 2023, where responsibilities included complex management and oversight of various internal service departments. Prior roles in Pierce County included Support Services Manager, Special Assistant to the Executive, and Interim Director positions within Public Works and Utilities and the Medical Examiners Office. Karen holds a Master of Public Administration from Seattle University, a Doctor of Law from Seattle University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Seattle University.
