John P. Schuster

John P. Schuster is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in executive coaching and leadership development. Currently serving as a Senior Executive Coach at Mentora Institute since February 2024, Schuster has also been a Core Faculty member at Hudson Institute of Coaching since February 2001. As an author for Berrett-Koehler Publishers, Inc., Schuster has published two notable works: "The Power of Your Past" in April 2011 and "Answering Your Call" in 2003. Schuster served as Principal at JPS & Assoc, LLC, a leadership development and coaching firm, from 1982 until June 2025, and was a faculty member in the Coaching Certification Program at Columbia University from 2006 to July 2022. Schuster holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Saybrook University (2010-2013) and a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from Xavier University, where studies began in 1970 and are ongoing. Additional educational engagements include training at Furpeace Guitar and Hudson Institute of Coaching.
