Larry Whitehead II (LD)

Larry Whitehead II has over 15 years of crop insurance experience. Larry (LD) started their career in 2005 as a Field Representative at CROPUSA Insurance Agency, Inc. In 2008, they joined Hudson Crop Insurance/Hudson Insurance Group as a Sales Representative/Regional Manager. In 2010, they were promoted to Regional Vice President at Hudson Insurance Group. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting new sales agents, maintaining relationships with existing agents, and achieving sales and financial objectives.

Larry (LD) Whitehead II attended Cross Plains High School, where they graduated in the year 2001. After completing high school, they enrolled at Howard Payne University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Larry (LD) attended the university from 2001 and successfully completed their degree in 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Larry has obtained several certifications in the insurance field. Larry (LD) obtained the Texas General Lines Agent Property and Casualty certification from the Texas Department of Insurance in November 2005. Larry (LD) also obtained the Texas Insurance Adjuster - Property and Casualty certification from the same institution in September 2005. Larry's most recent certification is the Texas Surplus Lines Insurance Agent, which they obtained from the Texas Department of Insurance in September 2019.
