Robert Gerber

Robert Gerber has a diverse and extensive work experience in various IT leadership roles. Robert is currently the Chief Information Officer at Hudson River Community Credit Union, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Technology at HRCCU from June 2019 to May 2022.

Before joining HRCCU, Gerber worked at Ellis Medicine as the Director of Clinical Applications from May 2017 to May 2019. In this role, they had technical responsibilities for multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities, managing a team of informaticists and systems trainers. Robert also led the Ellis Data Governance committee focused on optimizing data organization and storage.

Robert also served as the Director of IT at Saratoga Casino and Raceway from December 2004 to July 2016, where they successfully transformed IT operations and integrated infrastructure systems.

In the earlier stages of their career, Gerber worked as an Advanced ERP Systems Consultant at Pliant Solutions from 1996 to 2004. Robert initially joined the company as an ERP Systems Administrator and later took on the role of Manager of Information Systems. Robert also held the position of Process Control Manager at Lydall Composite Materials from 1990 to 1996.

Robert Gerber attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. No specific field of study was provided.
