Derek Schimmenti

Derek Schimmenti is a skilled brand designer currently employed at Hudson River Park Trust since July 2019. Previously, Derek has held positions as a graphic designer at Finch Brands and worked as a freelance designer at MRM. Early in the career, Derek gained valuable experience as a graphic design intern at Tishman Construction, where responsibilities included designing proposals and marketing materials, and at DKC, assisting in logo design for notable projects such as the Watergate Hotel's Argentta spa. Further foundational training occurred at Noble Desktop as a graphic design student, complemented by internship experience at STV and DETAILS, focusing on CAD drawings and surveying for various projects. Derek holds a degree from Philadelphia University, completed in 2018.
